Reminders:
- There will be a Board Meeting Monday the 21st from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm. Community members are invited to attend virtually. Please review our public participation policy at the link: https://www.talawanda.org/district-blog/entry/public-participation-policy-01691-549/
- Attention Seniors- The College Essay Workshop will be held on October 7th. We will have representatives from several colleges who will be available to review your essay and give feedback. Stay tuned for more information about this virtual event.
- This year the THS FAFSA Day will be held on Oct. 20 and 21. This virtual event will allow families to complete their FAFSA with the help of college financial aid experts. More information will be coming regarding times and how to register.
- Best Buddies will have a virtual meeting on Wednesday, September 23 at 2pm. All students are welcome to join the club! We love to meet new students! Best Buddies is a great way to meet new friends and socialize with your classmates! We will play games and have a chance to share with one another. Please email Mrs. Sammons at sammonsa@talawanda.org or president Sophia Thomposon at sophia.thompson@talawanda.org with questions and for the Zoom link to join us. - Students interested in Mock Trial: Email Ms. Weatherwax for the zoom meeting code. The last day to join THS Mock for the 2020-21 season is rapidly approaching!
- A Brave Cares events start tonight. Shirts can still be ordered online and Raffle Baskets will be posted Friday September 18th evening, you will be able to order them online or in person at THS and TMS Volleyball games. Drawing will be after TMS game on Saturday September 26th. Check out the flier for more info!
- Need something to read? Check out the Lane Library’s new Bookmobile stops!
- Now you can apply on-line for your children to receive free or reduced-price school meals! Your application will be sent from a secure web site directly to the Child Nutrition office, so you don't need to worry about filling out a paper form that could be lost or misplaced. Find the links here.

- Talawanda’s Fall food program is now free to everyone! Every Monday all Talawanda families may pick up 5 breakfasts and lunches free of charge. Find more information here.
