Talawanda High School E-News - November 21st, 2019
Reminders:
- No school the 27th - 29th for Thanksgiving Break!
- Parent /Teacher conferences are 12/5 from 3:30 to 7:00.
- Students interested in traveling with Ms. Mann and Mr. Tincher in 2021 should attend the informational meeting on Thursday, December 5, from 7:00-7:45 in room 319. This is directly after parent/teacher conferences. Parents, grandparents, guardians please attend, too!
- The School Counseling staff will be offering an informational CCP meeting on December 5 at 5:30 pm in the Media Center. This meeting will provide an overview of the program, how to apply and the deadlines. Representatives from local universities will be in attendance to provide college-specific information. Immediately following this meeting, there will be an informational session regarding the IT program that THS offers in conjunction with the University of Cincinnati.
- EOC Retakes are scheduled for 12/10 through 12/13, more info to come!
- Holiday Spirit Wear, support FCCLA by ordering here!
- Best Buddies is collecting donations for Animal Friends Humane Society for the holiday season. Donations can be dropped off in the main office or to Room 316 anytime between now and December 12. The wishlist for the shelter can be found here: http://www.animalfriendshs.org/ways-to-help/wish-list/. Items most needed include paper towels, canned cat and kitten food, and bleach. Thanks in advance for your help!

- The sophomore class will have the chance to visit one of the Butler Tech campuses on Monday, November 25. This field trip will allow students to see the educational opportunities and programs Butler Tech has to offer. If you have any questions, please contact your student's school counselor or Bernie Phelps.
- Senior picture deadline for the yearbook has been set to March 6th. Please email your senior picture to yearbook@talawanda.org before the deadline to make sure your image gets into the 2020 THS yearbook!
