The Talawanda High School Swim and Dive team will be represented at the Ohio State Division II Meet this week. The Braves have five student athletes that qualified for the OHSAA meet. Sophomore Sean Mondello qualified for the State Diving Meet by posting a score of 378.35 in the Southwest District meet at Miami University last Monday. This will be the 2nd trip for Mondello to the State Meet. The Ohio Division II Diving meet will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd at 2:00pm in Canton, Ohio. Good luck, Sean!

3rd grade students were practicing their floor hockey skills in Mrs. Eckerle's PE class. The students had multiple stations to apply their skills.
Reminder, there is no school on February 17th and 20th. This will be a long four day weekend for the district.

On Friday, February 10, 2017 the Talawanda Mock Trial team won their bid to state competition by defeating teams from Springfield and St. X at the Hamilton County Regional Competition. Junior Amily Zhou Wang and senior Kendall Cramer won Outstanding Witness awards and senior Dakota Bailey-Van Kuren won Outstanding Attorney. The team will be competing at Franklin County Courthouse on March 8, 2017.
