COVID 19 Quarantine Procedures Q and A
Destination Imagination
Talawanda's Destination Imagination program is a great way to get involved in a STEAM (STEM + Art!) activity even among the chaos of COVID-19! It is a team-based challenge program that requires creativity and teamwork. Teams can choose to solve one of six challenges in the areas of science, technology, fine arts, improv, outreach, and engineering - or teams of K-2nd grade complete the early learning challenge. While safety is still a top concern, this year's program is designed to make up lost time for kids to regain social skills through teamwork and engage in collaborative problem-solving

Drop Off and Pick Up
Drop off and Pick Up continues to improve as everyone learns the procedures (please share the procedures with anyone who may be doing drop off/pick up for your family). Please make sure students exit and enter the car on the passenger side of the vehicle and please pull forward using the entire length of the sidewalk - if you do we can unload and load 10 cars at a time and keep the line moving. For everyone’s safety, please do not pass cars in the drop off/pick up line - unless directed by staff members. During Pick Up, please stay in your car and use the upper lot if students need help buckling in order to keep the line moving. Also please remind your children to stay at their assigned spot on the sidewalk until your car has stopped - we are telling them as well but your help is appreciated. If your child is not on the permanent pick up list, please send a note with your child on days you are picking them up so we know to send them to the Car Rider Area and not to the bus. Permanent Pick Up Form. Pick up signs can be requested online.
