Marshall Enews 8/25/23

School News and Information

It was an absolute delight to welcome our preschool, kindergarten, and 1st-grade students back to school. Their energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and they have been doing an exceptional job getting acquainted with the rules, routines, and procedures that make our school a safe and nurturing environment for learning.

Our older students, from 2nd grade through 5th grade, have dived right into engaging lessons and activities. We are thrilled to see them starting the school year on the right foot, eager to explore new concepts and take on exciting challenges. The classrooms are buzzing with curiosity and creativity, and witness the great learning taking place.

As we look ahead, please take note of the following important dates:

Friday, September 1, 2023: No school for students (Professional Development Day)

Monday, September 4, 2023: No school for students (Labor Day)

Tuesday, September 5, 2023: No school for students (Data Day)

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Procedures

Thank you for working with us as we continue to make pick up time as easy and efficient as possible. Please continue to only make right turns out of Marshall. Thank you for your help in getting our students home safely and as quickly as possible.

The Marshall PTG wants you!

The Marshall Parent Teacher Group is composed of parents/caregivers, teachers, and community volunteers, who donate their time and efforts to enrich each Marshall student’s experience.  The first PTG meeting will be held on Monday, September 11th at 7:00. We hope to see you there!

Our fall flower sale runs from 8/23-9/6. We are selling mums, mumkins, and mumsters! Be sure to look at the flier that came home and check your email for links to view and purchase from the sale. All proceeds support Marshall PTG, which goes back to support our students and staff!

We are adding some fun prizes along the way this year:

When our school sells…

100 items, all students will get a fun sticker!

250 items, all students can bring a small stuffie to school for the day (it must fit in their backpack)!

400 items, all students can wear crazy hair or a crazy hat!

650 items, all students earn 5 extra minutes of recess!

850 items, all students can have a snow cone at lunch!

Any student who sells over 11 items gets the opportunity to silly string a teacher! Thank you for supporting Marshall PTG and all of our students and staff!
