School News and Information

Happy Thursday!  Thanks so much for a wonderful school year.  We appreciate our staff, students and families and all they do to make Marshall a wonderful place to learn!  We wish our 5th graders well at TMS!  All families returning to Marshall  next year, class welcome letters and supply lists will be shared via Final Forms email in August.

PTG

We would like to thank you for your support during our recent May Fest event. It was wonderful to see so many families come together to celebrate and make this event a memorable success.

To help us improve and make future events even better, we kindly request that you take a few minutes to complete a short survey about your experience at May Fest. Your feedback is invaluable to us and will guide us in planning and organizing events that best serve our school community.

The survey will only take a few minutes of your time, and your responses will remain confidential. We appreciate your honesty and thoughtful input.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in the Marshall School community. We look forward to hearing your feedback and working together to create more fantastic events in the future.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or additional comments about the event.

Thank you again for your time and participation.

State Testing Information- Dr. Theroux & Mrs. Gregg

Section 3313.6029 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) requires all districts to notify families of state test scores for their children by June 30th. The test scores are one piece of data that helps us ensure your child’s academic needs are met.  Grades 3-8 (Ohio State Tests) and 9-12 (End of Course) are tested.

The 2024 Ohio State Test and End of Course Test scores have been released and can now be accessed through Progress Book by clicking on the “Assessment Scores” tab.  Here you will find the results of the 2024 state tests.

If you do not have access to Progress Book, students and families may pick up a paper copy of their score report at 131 W. Chestnut St. between June 24-27th.  The district office will be open between 8 am-2 pm. Score reports that do not get picked up will be handed out to students in the Fall. For more information about Ohio State Tests and End of Course Tests or how to interpret your score, please refer to the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce website

If you have questions regarding your child’s test scores, you may contact your child’s teacher or administrator when school resumes in August.  Have a great summer!

Final Forms Update and Reminder

TSD will prompt parents in the first week of August to begin updating their child's school forms for the 2024-25 school year.  We know sometimes parents begin doing this early, but it's important to wait for the prompt from the district, as some forms will be changing for next school year.  The updates will be made in July after all of the summer programs are completed.
