School News and Information

From the Marshall PTG.  The Marshall Monster Mash Dash Golf Ball Drop ends on Thursday.  Each student was provided 5 tickets to sell. Thank you to everyone who has participated so far.  If you have finished selling tickets please return you packet to school early this week so all tickets can be recorded in order to prepare for the Golf Ball Drop on Thursday at 3:30 PM.   Thank you for your support of Marshall and the PTG. The schedule for the Monster Mash Dash is listed below.

Halloween at Marshall

Looking ahead please don’t forget:

We will be celebrating Halloween on Thursday, October 31st.  Costumes will be permitted with the following guidelines:

1. Masks are not to be worn to school but may be put on for the parade 
2. Props must be school appropriate (No weapons)
3. Minimal Makeup
4. Costumes must be worn to school.  There will not be a “change time”.  Please make sure that your child will be able to function comfortably throughout the day (bathroom needs, recess, school work, specials) while wearing his/her costume.  Costumes should not be too graphic, gory, or scary

Halloween times will vary.  Please check with your child’s teacher about their classroom party plans.

TSD Communications Update from Holli Morrish

Talawanda School District- Directory Opt-Out Form has been updated

Per Board Policy 8330, the District has designated the following information about each student as "directory information":

A student's name; address; telephone number; date and place of birth; major field of study; participation in officially-recognized activities and sports; height and weight, if a member of an athletic team; dates of attendance; date of graduation; and awards received.

The Board will make directory information available upon a legitimate request unless a parent, guardian, or adult student notifies the District in writing by returning this form to the school where his/her child attends within 10 days of the receipt of this annual notice.  Please see the attached form or refer to the district website... https://www.talawanda.org/resources/forms-%2B-handbooks-3/

Updating Student Information

Student Information/contact Forms are completed electronically.  Simply log into Final Forms using the email and password you created and make the changes you need.  If you forgot your email or password click forgot email or forgot password and follow the prompts.

Before and After School Child Care

It looks like we will be moving forward with starting Child Care provided by the YMCA here at Marshall.  If you didn’t sign up at Open House and are interested, please complete this form and return it to school.
