INFORMATION

REMINDERS:

UPDATED 8/17/21- The Talawanda Board of Education voted to require masks indoors at TSD schools for Pre-K-12 students, staff, and all visitors. Masks are required on all school buses and TSD transportation services. TSD will continue to follow BCHD guidelines.

First day of School: FIRST Early Release Date is August 18, 2021

THS, TMS, Bogan, Kramer:

Grades 2-12 begin class on August 18, 2021

Grades K-1 begin class on August 23, 2021

*More information regarding Marshall Elementary due to school construction:

August 26 - Open House for Grades 1st through 5th 4:30 to 6:00 PM - Masks are to be worn while in the building. We ask that you come in, navigate the school, find your Child's classroom, and drop off supplies. We are excited to open the building for our students and their families to see, but we want to limit the time and the number of people in the building as much as possible.

August 27 - First Day for Grades 1st through 5th

August 27, 30, 31 - Kindergarten Family Meetings (You will receive a letter with your assigned meeting time next week - about 45 minutes)

September 1 - First Day for Kindergarten and Preschool

Monthly Board of Education meetings typically take place at Talawanda High School's Performing Arts Center. The meetings begin at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance, Presentations and the Public Participation Section of the meeting.

Please note that the Talawanda Board of Education voted in favor of videotaping meetings (available on the district's YouTube Channel- see link https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3KUv9HctFkSfLkUP9luZhg . The videotaped meetings of the Talawanda Board of Education are considered to be an administrative aid to the board approved minutes, and are NOT official board minutes.

Attendees and speakers at the Board of Education meetings will be videotaped. Links to these videos are available for the public to view.
