Kramer Enews 8/9/24
Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! We are excited for another great year. The floors have been waxed and the classrooms have been cleaned. The staff has been planning, setting up their classrooms, and getting ready for the upcoming school year. We are ready to get students in the doors and into classrooms!
The first day of school for students in grades 2 through 5 is Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Students in grades K & 1 will start school on Monday, August 19, 2024. Students in grades K & 1 will have a meeting with their classroom teacher between August 14th through 16th. A link and time will be shared.
The school day will begin at 8:25 am and we will dismiss at 3:05 pm. Students may enter the building for breakfast starting at 8:05 am. Students who do not eat breakfast at Kramer may enter the building at 8:05 am.
If your child does not ride the bus and they are dropped off by a vehicle, please use the lower lot, which was the old bus entrance. As always, we will have Kramer staff members on the sidewalks to help students enter the building.
For the 2024-25 school year, all vehicles will drop off in the bus loop area. All buses will drop off in the parking lot outside the main entrance. Students who walk or ride their bikes to school will enter the building through the main doors by the flagpole.
A few changes have occurred. I would like to introduce our new staff members or current staff members in new positions:
Libby Ballek- Nurse
Robin Durham- Counselor
Kelly Hensley- 3rd Grade
Angela Jones- 4th Grade
Final Forms
Final Forms was introduced a few years ago to complete student information. If you have created an account you can log in, check your information, and update your forms. The Kramer staff have been trained on how to use Final Forms and can assist you with any problems that you may encounter. If you need access to the internet or a computer, please stop in the Kramer office and we will assist you.

I'm getting our list of Kramer parents and teachers ready for the new school year. If you no longer need these emails, just reply and say 'unsubscribe.' If any of your friends need to get onto this list, have them email kramerPTG@gmail.com and ask to be added.
Back-to-School Night
On Tuesday, August 13th from 4:30 to 6 pm, Kramer Elementary School is open to families to meet their teachers, see their classrooms, and drop off their school supplies. In addition, the Kramer PTG will staff an information booth about the PTG. The goal is to get parents signed up for Kroger Rewards and BoxTops and to talk about volunteer opportunities. Stop by and say hi. We'll have cookies!
Carpooling to School
Are you interested in setting up a carpool to or from Kramer? Check out the Kramer Carpool Organizing Sheet. Within the spreadsheet, there are options for you to fill out whether you can offer a ride or whether you need a ride. This is a place to help you make connections. No one will be assigning you to a carpool or making a match. Thank you to Sarah Pechan Driver and Carla Blackmar for creating this!
PTG Meetings
We hope that you’ll join us for our PTG meetings, where we plan our community events and fundraisers. PTG meetings are held on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, in the Kramer Elementary Art Room. We would love to see you.

Fall Pictures
Fall pictures are scheduled for Friday, September 6, 2024. Make-ups will be on October 17th.

Thank you to the many families who have completed and returned their child's transportation form to Petermann Transportation.
