Happy Friday!  I hope you have enjoyed the warmer weather!

NO SCHOOL for Students- Election Day May 8, 2018

To TSD Parents:

Keeping Talawanda students safe and secure is our highest priority. The Butler County

Board of Elections utilizes multiple government facilities in the area on election days, and often this includes school facilities. The Talawanda Board of Education has opted to

cancel school for Talawanda students on Tuesday May 8, 2018 due to election day.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and hope that by informing you as

early as possible, that parents will have the time to make appropriate arrangements for

childcare on that day.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding!

Kramer’s Walk and Bike to School Day!

Walking and biking are always healthy and green ways to get to school...and it is fun!  On Wednesday, May 9th join friends and family for Walk and Bike to School Day at Kramer.  Don’t live in town? Get dropped off and join the crowd for a few blocks.

Talawanda School District and the City of Oxford are committed to Safe Routes to School.

For more information contact Amy Macechko at

See you out  on the sidewalks!

The Kramer Girls on the Run team is sponsoring a canned food drive benefiting the Oxford Food Pantry from April 30-May 11th. Please send in any dry or canned goods to support our community’s needs.

Kramer/Miami Mile Info- Wednesday May 16.  More info will be shared by the Kramer PTG.  This was an amazing fundraiser last year and we will do it again this year.  The money raised during the Kramer Mile allowed us to cancel the fall catalog fundraiser.  This is a great healthy choice/fundraiser. Stay tuned for more information.
