School News and Information
We hope you've had a fantastic week. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you amazing mothers at Kramer.
Our staff has been busy with two productive Professional Development days focusing on the new ELA adoption for the upcoming school year. It was two great days of PD with engaging presenters, allowing our team to delve into the new curriculum and prepare for the 2024-25 academic year.
Thank you to Mrs. Eckerle for organizing and running an amazing field day! Thank you to Mrs. Smarda, Mrs. Kelly, and all of our parent volunteers for helping. The students had a great time. Thank you to our amazing DJ, Steve Siambekos for spinning the tunes. Finally, thank you to the Kramer PTG for the popsicles as one of our stations. It was a total success and team effort. Thank you to everyone!
Thank you to Heidi Mallaley for organizing our Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week. The generosity of the PTG and all of the parent volunteers who helped was greatly appreciated. Thank you to everyone who helped take care of the Kramer staff this week. A big thank you goes to Alison Kleibscheidel, Emily Butler, Jenny Fisher, Madalyn Ketron, Monisa Ruihley, Natalie Michael, and to Molly Farler for the joint PTG breakfast. A countless thank you to the PTG members who gave ideas and input! Also, a thank you to Luna Blu for their massage donation, Insomnia Cookies, and Kroger Bakery for the bagels! And we so appreciated lunch from La Rosa’s. We also want to thank the Ketron’s for the coffee donation from Aulie’s Coffee and to Capital Varsity for the Kramer drawstring bags!
Kramer Mile
The Kramer PTG is excited about our biggest fundraiser of the year! The Kramer Mile will be held May 13 - 17. Each grade level will be running together on the Kramer blacktop. Your child’s teacher will share the date/time their class will be running. We are encouraging Kramer students to ask their family and friends to sponsor them as they try to meet their goal of completing the mile. We are thrilled to have eliminated the unpopular fall catalog sales in favor of an event that gives the PTG 96% of credit card donations and 100% of all cash or check donations. In addition, we are helping foster healthy choices for the students as they get outside and exercise!
Bike & Roll to School Day- Mrs. Machechko
We had over 140 students participate in Bike and Roll to School Day. Thank you to all of the students who participated and thank you to all the parent volunteers who joined the students coming to school.

Final Forms Update and Reminder
TSD will prompt parents in the first week of August to begin updating their child's school forms for the 2024-25 school year. We know sometimes parents begin doing this early, but it's important to wait for the prompt from the district, as some forms will be changing for next school year. The updates will be made in July after all of the summer programs are completed.
