Happy Friday!  I hope you have had a great week!

The penny war was a huge success.  We will be sending just over $1700 to our friends in Texas.  Thank you for taking care of Texas!  Congratulations to Ms. Hamilton’s class on winning the doughnut party.

We will be celebrating Halloween on Tuesday, October 31st.  Costumes will be permitted with the following guidelines:

1.   No Masks

2.   No Props

3.   Minimal Makeup

4.   Costumes must be worn to school.  There will not be a “change time”.  Please make sure that your child will be able to function comfortably throughout the day (bathroom needs, recess, school work, specials) while wearing his/her costume.

Halloween times will vary.  Please check with your child’s teacher about their classroom party plans.

There has been curb and sidewalk replacement on Sycamore and Locust Street for the past few weeks.  A few of the construction workers informed us that part of the Locust Street sidewalk will be closed until next week.  John Buchholz shared the following information about paving: Paving of the roadway is scheduled to begin on Nov 6th.  It will begin on Locust St and turn onto Sycamore St.  The goal is to maintain traffic, if possible.  Please plan accordingly.

Thank you to Tina Bidwell for organizing our 2nd night of conference meals!  Thank you to all of the parents and friends of Kramer that donated food, drinks and money for conference night.  We appreciate it!

On the November Lunch Menu it was not noted that there is NO SCHOOL on November 7th.  Please note that students do not attend school on November 7th.

Spark Day was a huge success!  Thank you to Mrs. Crowder, Mrs. Jutte and our Xavier Intern, Ms. Latoski for a great day!  Here is the video that was created from all of the Spark Day pictures.

The, “Trick or Treat Ride” for Sunday has been cancelled.  We are planning on trying again next year.

Please don’t forget to turn in the, “Class at the Court” permission slip.  We will be attending the Miami Women’s Basketball game on Friday, November 10, 2017.  The game begins at 2:00 pm.
