Kramer Enews 10/19/17

Posted on: October 19, 2017

Happy Thursday!  Please remember there is no school tomorrow, Friday, October 20, 2017 for fall break.

Our Kramer carnival was a huge success!  Thank you to everyone that came out and supported our Kramer PTG.  A big thank you to the carnival committee of: Molly Farler, Emily Kuhn, Jill Levenderis and Emily Liechty.  Also, thank you to the numerous volunteers that helped throughout the day.  Thank you, we appreciate it!

We had a great first night of Parent/Teacher Conferences.  Our next round of conferences is scheduled for, Tuesday, October 24th.  If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call the Kramer office at: 513-273-3500.  Don’t forget to stop down and see Mrs. Darby during the Book Fair.

Thank you to Tina Bidwell for organizing our conference meals!  Thank you to all of the parents and friends of Kramer that donated food, drinks and money for conference night.  We appreciate it!

Our Jump Rope for Heart event ends Friday, Oct. 27! Parent letters and collection envelopes went home last week.  Please send in your donation collection envelopes (even if raising funds online!).  Students may turn these in during PE class or parents may bring them to Mrs. Eckerle at conferences.   The class that raises the most money for the American Heart Association will earn a bonus P.E. class with Mrs. Eckerle!!

We will be celebrating Halloween on Tuesday, October 31st.  Costumes will be permitted with the following guidelines:

1.   No Masks

2.   No Props

3.   Minimal Makeup

4.   Costumes must be worn to school.  There will not be a “change time”.  Please make sure that your child will be able to function comfortably throughout the day (bathroom needs, recess, school work, specials) while wearing his/her costume.

Halloween times will vary.  Please check with your child’s teacher about their classroom party plans.

So far, Kramer Elementary School has requested 74 Energy Kits! If you reach 100 or more kit requests - we'll follow up to send your school a $250 check!  (26 away!!)

Your families and staff can request their FREE Energy Kit and credit your school by going online to MyEnergyKit.org or by calling our hotline at 1-855-386-9548.

A few years ago we had a group visit Kramer for a, “Trick or Treat Ride”.  It was a local group that rides motorcycles and gives back to the community.  They would like to visit Kramer on October 29th at 2:00 pm in the bus loop.  This is a weather permitting event.  Students can wear their costumes and get candy from the group.  We will post additonal details in next e-news next week.
