TMS Student Taken into Custody after Report of a Weapon

A Talawanda Middle School student reported that another student had a weapon.  The student’s belongings were searched and the student was found to be in the possession of a knife.  The student was taken to the Butler County Juvenile Detention Center by the School Resource Officer.

All students are safe, and there was not an incident associated with this finding.
