TSD- May 22, 2020- TMS Suspected COVID-19 Case

Talawanda Community:

We have been in contact today with the Butler County Health Department regarding a potential COVID-19 case.  There has been a potential exposure in the Talawanda Middle School.  The individual is under the care of a physician.  We want to be responsible and communicate this information to our employees and community members.  Any people that have come into direct contact have been made aware of the issue and have been provided with information on how best to quarantine themselves and lower the risk of exposure to others.  We will update the community if new or pertinent information to this situation evolves.  This is not a confirmed case as of right now, but the district is taking all precautions due to the symptoms and the recommendations of the Butler County Health Department.
