THS Update: Threat Late Monday Night Proved to be NOT Credible!

Talawanda Families:

All Talawanda students and staff are safe!  A Talawanda student made a threat against Talawanda High School late last evening.  The threat was investigated throughout the night.  The threat was determined to NOT be credible, however the student has been arrested and will not be attending school today.  The high school facility is safe and secure.  As a precaution there will be additional law enforcement at the high school this morning.

A threat of this nature is a very serious criminal offense.  The school district will pursue all disciplinary measures.  This person is also facing serious criminal charges in Butler County.
