“Protester” Near THS Campus this Morning

This morning during parent drop-off at THS there was a single “protester” calling out to vehicles, staff, and students as they were coming to the high school.  This person was on school property, but was asked to move. The district regrets that this caused a disruption to the beginning of the school day and acted to eliminate this distraction and potential safety risk.

All students and staff are safe!  Mr. Davie, Dr. Theroux, the SRO, Mr. Malone, and the Oxford Police dealt with the situation this morning safely and effectively.  The district has become aware that this person has been targeting local universities and high schools in the area.

The district understands that families and community members have concerns about this kind of behavior.  The district wanted to keep TSD parents in the loop, and keep rumors in check.
