In an effort to provide access to accurate information we'd like to share a link to the Ohio Department of Education's Frequently Asked Questions page regarding the many possible scenarios for the Ed-Choice Scholarship and eligibility.  Please see the link to the Ohio Department of Education page below.

Please consider contacting your local representatives to have your voice heard. Talawanda, along with many other districts, believe that Ed-Choice is an attack on public education in Ohio which will decimate districts across the state through significant funding losses. Talawanda receives $1400 per student from the state of Ohio.  The Ed-Choice Scholarship pays $4650 in grades K-8, and $6000 in grades 9-12 per school year.  The difference is paid out of Talawanda's general fund.  This initiative will hurt Talawanda financially, as well as many other districts locally and across the state.  Below is a list of contacts locally who have influence to prevent this from taking effect next year:
