Misinformation/False Reports regarding school violence

Talawanda High School's SRO was made aware this evening that a report was made this afternoon regarding a potential threat of violence to a school in West Harrison, Indiana. The information was also being shared via social media.  The information was also passed to local students, and inaccurately reported as a local issue involving Talawanda High School (THS).  THS was NOT part of the threat.  The issue was resolved, and a person was arrested in association with the incident. 

Thank you to the local parents that reported this so that an investigation could be conducted and the misinformation could be cleared up quickly.
