Marshall Elementary Student Incident

Marshall Elementary Student Incident:

A parent reported to Marshall Elementary that their child was shown a potential weapon during the school day.  The administration immediately started an investigation, which has now been completed.  It has been confirmed that the student brought a toy gun to school.  The district is following all discipline policies and procedures.  TSD wanted to alert school families of the facts to avoid any rumors and misinformation.

Thank you Marshall parents for following our school motto, “See Something…Say Something”.  TSD appreciates everyone’s commitment to school safety.  This is a good opportunity to remind families, and for parents to talk with their children in regard to what kinds of items are appropriate to bring to school.
