January is School Board Recognition Month:

Talawanda recognizes the time and dedication it takes to serve as a school board member.  Thank you for your service to the students, their families, and the community.

Serving as a link between the community and the district, school board members are elected to establish the policies that provide the framework for public schools. The Talawanda School Board is responsible for an annual budget, curriculum adoptions, policies for TSD schools, and the support of the many students and staff in TSD.

Talawanda Board Members have been elected to represent the greater community and to bring their ideas to fruition, while creating the best opportunities and the best education they can provide for our local children.
