Important State Testing Information
Parental/Family Notification of State Assessments
May 22, 2024
Dear Families,
Section 3313.6029 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) requires all districts to notify families of state test scores for their children by June 30th. The test scores are one piece of data that helps us ensure your child’s academic needs are met. Grades 3-8 (Ohio State Tests) and 9-12 (End of Course) are tested.
The 2024 Ohio State Test and End of Course Test scores have been released and can now be accessed through Progress Book by clicking on the “Assessment Scores” tab. Here you will find the results of the 2024 state tests.
If you do not have access to Progress Book, students and families may pick up a paper copy of their score report at 131 W. Chestnut St. between June 24-27th. The district office will be open between 8 am-2 pm. Score reports that do not get picked up will be handed out to students in the Fall. For more information about Ohio State Tests and End of Course Tests or how to interpret your score, please refer to the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce website.
If you have questions regarding your child’s test scores, you may contact your child’s teacher or administrator when school resumes in August. Have a great summer!
