Farm Knife Discovered at THS

A Talawanda High School staff member notified the administration that a student may be in possession of a knife. The administration and the school resource officer responded immediately.  The student was in possession of a knife used for work on the farm. The student had used the knife that morning at home and had forgotten it was clipped inside his pocket.  At no time were students in danger, and no threats were made toward any staff or student.  All students are safe and accounted for at this time.

This issue does not warrant further involvement from law enforcement.  The school policy is being followed in relation to this issue.
