Stephanie Aerni New TMS Assistant Principal!
Talawanda is very pleased to announce that Mrs. Aerni will be the NEW Talawanda Middle School Assistant Principal for the 2019-2020 school year. Mrs. Aerni is new to the administration, but is well known for her many years of service as a social studies teacher at Talawanda High School! She is committed to continuing with the Positive Behavior Supports & Intervention Program at TMS. She hopes to encourage students to try new activities and explore a variety of interests, and foster positive relationships among all of the stakeholders at TMS!
Some career highlights and leadership opportunities for Mrs. Aerni include:
- National Board Certified Teacher, taught in Talawanda 14 yrs.
- Developed curriculum for new courses
- Student Advocate via Student Assistance Program for 12 yrs.
- Coached Varsity Track for 10 years
- Attended regional and National conferences on Education
- THS "Excellence in Education" award (2015)
