Update: Bogan Investigation

UPDATE: Investigation- Bogan Elementary

The TSD Administration recently placed a Bogan staff member on administrative leave pending an investigation into allegations that the employee had made physical contact with a student.  The employee was removed immediately and has had no further contact with students or staff.  

The district intended to pursue termination of the employee at the scheduled disciplinary hearing.  The staff member resigned prior to the scheduled disciplinary hearing.  The district will continue to report information in regard to this matter to the required officials.

The district understands that the employee is now in police custody.

Talawanda does not condone the use of inappropriate or excessive student physical contact.

Although the district may not be able to share many details in regard to this personnel issue, any questions or concerns may be directed to the Communications Office, the Human Resources Office or the Superintendent’s Office.
