Bogan Enews 8/9/24
Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! We are excited for another great year. The floors have been waxed and the classrooms have been cleaned. The staff has been planning, setting up their classrooms, and getting ready for the upcoming school year. We are ready to get students in the doors and into classrooms!
The first day of school for students in grades 2 through 5 is Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Students in grades K & 1 will start school on Monday, August 19, 2024. Students in grades K & 1 will have a meeting with their classroom teacher between August 14th through 16th. Families received a sign-up genius link in their welcome-back email.
The school day will begin at 8:25 am and we will dismiss at 3:05 pm. Students may enter the building starting at 8:05 am. For those who want breakfast, they can go to the cafeteria, all others will head to their homeroom.
A few staff changes have occurred. I would like to introduce our new staff members or current staff members in new positions:

Final Forms
Final Forms was introduced a few years ago to complete student information. If you have created an account you can log in, check your information, and update your forms. If you need access to the internet or a computer, please stop in the Bogan office and we will help you.
K-8 Transportation- Mrs. Hansel
Thank you to the many families who have completed and returned their child's transportation form to Petermann Transportation. The form in Final Forms is NOT the form that Peterman needs!
If you still need to complete and send your child's form, please do so right away!

PTG News and Information
Stop by the PTG table at the open house to learn about all the wonderful things PTG does throughout the school year!
PTG will also have their first meeting of the year on August 29th at 6:30pm. We hope you can join us!
OPEN HOUSE
On Tuesday, August 13th from 4:30 to 6 pm, Bogan Elementary School is open to families to meet their teachers, see their classrooms, and drop off their school supplies. In addition, we will have a few information booths in the cafeteria. Come check out the different booths and see what all our community has to offer!
